🎨 Saturday Kids' Studio Painting Classes (Ages 6+)

Saturday, September 12, 2026 is the first class after summer break. New kids can jump in mid-month anytime.

Our studio gives young artists ages 6 to 10 the freedom to create independently. We teach foundational acrylic painting using reference images as a guide, blending structured skills with room for their own imagination to grow.

💰 Class Investment & Details

• Cost: $155.00 + GST per child (All art supplies are included!)
• Session Length: 90 mins per class / 4-week blocks
• Commitment: Classes are attended consecutively on a month-to-month basis.

🖌️ How Our Classes Work

• The Technique Spotlight (First 10–15 Mins): Every class starts with a quick, interactive lesson focusing on specific skills like color mixing, canvas texturing, or unique brushwork.
• The Creative Freedom (Next 60 Mins): The studio belongs to them! Students choose their own subjects and projects. They can experiment with the day's new technique or dive deep into their own independent ideas, with instructors jumping in to aid their thought process and techniques.
• The Ultimate Goal: We build genuine artistic confidence, independence, and technical skill in a warm, encouraging environment.
• Note for Parents: Creative freedom gets beautifully messy! Please send your child in clothes that can handle a stray splash of paint. We have aprons at the studio.

🗓️ Flexible Enrollment: Start Anytime

• Mid-Month Starts: Joining mid-month is fully possible.
• Payment Schedule: Pay for 4 weeks initially. If your child continues, fees are prorated moving forward to align with our standard monthly schedule.

📋 Studio Policies

• Sibling Discount: For immediate families only (sorry, no BFFs!).
• Experience: Open to all skill levels; no prior artistic experience is required.
• Rollover & Withdrawal: Spot rolls over month-to-month automatically. A 1-month advance notice is required to withdraw after the initial trial month.
• Payments: Fees are due the last class of the prior month (e.g., April tuition is due the last week of March). First month via online registration; e-transfer to the instructor is preferred for the months following.
• Refunds/Missed Classes: No refunds after registration. Make-ups for missed classes can only happen if the instructor has space in another ongoing class.
• Cancellations: If a class is cancelled by the instructor, a future class credit or a replacement teacher will be provided.
• Late Pick-Up Fee: A $10.00 fee applies at 15 minutes late, plus $1.00 for every additional minute.
