CALL TO GRADE 9 / HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: ART CAMP VOLUNTEER POSITION : SUMMER 2026

 At Neon Milkshake Art Studio, we are gearing up for an exciting summer of creativity and are looking for enthusiastic, responsible students to join us as Art Camp Volunteers for our upcoming Summer Art Camps season.

This is a fantastic opportunity for students to gain leadership experience, work alongside our instructors, and earn valuable community service or volunteer hours.

📋 Volunteer Position Details

  • Who: High school students looking for experience or volunteer hours.

  • Where: Neon Milkshake Art Studio (#3, 7640 Fairmount Drive SE, Calgary, AB T2H 0X9)

  • Commitment: 5-Day Camps (Monday to Friday, except holiday weeks).

  • Shift Options: Students can choose between Morning shifts (9:30 AM – 12:30 PM) or Afternoon shifts (12:30 PM – 3:30 PM), unless noted below.

🗓️ Summer Camp Dates:

Students can apply to volunteer for any of our weekly slots throughout the summer:

** sorry, no single day volunteering is available

  • June 29 – July 3 (Please note: No camp on Wednesday, July 1st for Canada Day)

  • July 6 – July 10

  • July 13 – July 17

  • July 20 – July 24

  • July 27 – July 31

  • August 4 – August 7 (4-day week due to Heritage Day holiday — Morning volunteer only)

  • August 10 – August 14 (Morning volunteer only)

  • August 24 – August 28

🎨 What You Will Do:

  • Help set up creative art stations and lay out supplies.

  • Assist young artists with their projects and techniques.

  • Keep the studio clean, organized, and running smoothly.

  • Participate in our outdoor park breaks.

  • Be an encouraging, positive role model for our campers!
