Artist Statement

Colour speaks to my heart and the play of colour to my soul. My abstract alcohol ink and encaustic wax art allows me freedom of expression through colour and flow. The emotional response evoked by my art is sometimes bright and happy, sometimes quiet or more subdued, and sometimes a jumble to sift through ... just like life.

I am an Alberta girl inspired by the diversity of scenery, climate and flora. Always creative, this adventure in art has been self-taught, some class work, and lots of joyful experimentation.
