Bio and artist statement

A graduate of Mount Royal University Interior Design, Danielle Wenarchuk has spent more than a decade working to beautify the built environment. Painting provides a personal and intimate avenue for Wenarchuk to share her colorful view of the world.

Inspired by nature, Wenarchuk’s paintings of Canadian scenery and its inhabitants are expressed in playful and often surreal color. Working in Acrylic paint, Wenarchuk employs a pallette knife bringing lively texture and a loose movement the finished works.

Born and raised in Western Canada, Danielle Wenarchuk makes her home in Calgary Alberta.
