When I grow up I want to be an artist.
Now, years later I don’t want to grow up
But I still want to be an artist. I work, I learn,
I grow, I play ….. and here I am!
My mantra: Learn, explore, create, play, experiment and laugh.
Goal: be fearless
My creative journey began 11 years ago when I took an art class. I was hooked. Although I do not have an art degree, I have had many great mentors in the years I have been painting. There isn’t a week that goes by that I don’t create. I study, read, play, experiment and criticize myself until I like what I have accomplished. I don’t have a defined style because there are so many exciting methods of approaching the creation of a new piece and I want to try them all!
