Camp duration: 3hrs per day / 5 days (no full-day option).

ART MEDIUM/ PROJECT SCHEDULE will include: Graphite, Watercolour, Pen and Ink.

For beginner and intermediate anime/manga enthusiasts, this half day camp puts a focus on leveling-up basic fundamentals to achieve better character designs and replications. Simple anatomy/gesture drawing, inking/colouring techniques, and working with character concepts will be the centre of attention….along with talking about our favourite shows/characters.

Outdoor breaks will happen on good weather days as Fairview Park & Flint Park are close to the art studio. Here we can burn off some energy or just get some fresh air with a book. Please bring in a lunch/snack & water bottle. Art supplies are included and sketchbooks will be taken home at the end of camp.

Day 1: Sketching basic female/male anatomy, studying key features and styles for anime/manga.

Day 2: Sketching commonly used anime/manga expressions and incorporating dynamic poses/gestures into our anatomy studies.

Day 3: How to create a simple storyboard/comic strip. Begin character (s) designs.

Day 4: Each student will work on creating either a small comic, or a detailed concept design. Once the initial concept sketches are complete, we will focus on how to ink/colour their final piece.

Day 5: Students will finish inking/colouring their comic/character.

All art supplies are included in price and artwork will be taken home

*NO REFUNDS for any missed camp days once registered, another sibling can take the place of or we can try to transfer into another camp or refund if there is a wait-list.

Please arrive no sooner than a few minutes before camp start time, $10 late fee applies to late pick up of 15 minutes and $1 every minute after.
