My name is Salma Jadavji, and I am married with three children and two beautiful grandchildren. My background is originally in medicine but I decided to try my hand at painting 25 years ago and it has remained the trade I am most passionate about. Throughout the years I have been fortunate enough to participate in numerous exhibitions and charity shows, most of my proceeds being donated for global poverty. Through my art I have been able to not only donate to charities but I have also been able to connect with the community at large. Besides painting I also have a passion for gardening, interior design, and sewing. When I am not busy with my hobbies I busy myself with volunteering of all kinds. Volunteering is a big part of my life and who I am. Through volunteering I have had many opportunities open up, the most exciting being, a radio talk show host. We feature different artists weekly and this to has allowed me to connect to the community in a big way.
