For me art is a feeling, an expression that can easily transport you.  It's like magic . . . the inexplicable connectedness we sometimes experience with the Land we walk on, and the Beings that share the land.  When I create I am transported into a world that is different from the present.

My choice of expression is with the tactile properties of acrylics and mixed media; my paintings are created by intuitive responses and evolve layer by layer.  My hope is that the layers echo overlapping experiences with people, other times of life and physical landscapes; and perhaps trigger feelings and memories of thing not present.
